Why Juice Diets Are So Popular

The popularity of juice diets can be understood if you consider the several factors that are behind their rise to popularity. Many stars, particularly in the film industry, have endorsed these diets, which has led to widespread adoption of them in everyday consumers' lives. Their popularity continues to grow as media attention is directed to them, particularly in the form of infomercials, and other forms of media spotlights.

But there are three main reasons why juice diets continue to be popular today.

The first reason is that these diets are easy. Dieting on a juice diet simply consists of imbibing a given juice amount a certain number of times a day, and then sticking to that routine for a weeks time. This involves no thought on the dieters part and makes meal consumption very simple. Unfortunately it also has the unfortunate side effect of limiting variety in the dieter' s diet. This can lead to several complications. One of these complications is that dieters are no longer able to get adequate nutrition in their daily diets. This can lead to several side effects, none of them desirable. One of the side effects is a possible worsening of formerly good health.

The second major reason that these diets have become so popular today lies in all the media attention that they've received in the recent past. It seems like every other infomercial broadcasting on late-night television, is promoting a juice diet. While I do not condone their methods, I must say that those hawking juice diets on infomercials are very skilled at what they do. They are quite persuasive and they have persuaded many people to buy from them. Unfortunately this has lead many people to undertake juice diets which are hazardous to their health, and cannot help them to achieve their dietary weight loss goals.

The third major reason that these diets have become so popular today lives in the great number of Web pages and Web resources devoted to them on the World Wide Web. Many diet sites promote juice diets as an excellent idea, and there are several web pages devoted to their propagation. It is not hard to understand why many websites promote juice diets, as a great number of affiliate programs and other marketing efforts are directed to the sale of juice diet paraphernalia.

Despite the popularity, these have several problems. They are not safe because they do not enable dieters to get adequate nutritional intake, and they will not result in long-term weight loss gains. If you're interested in long-term weight loss gains you must turn to other more accurate online resources.
